For better or worse, I was recently elected Chair of the Libertarian Party of New York. As such, I'll probably being doing interviews on the other side of the table or microphone. One such has come up this Friday. One of our former guests, John Wallace, hosts a show on BlogTalk Radio Friday afternoons at 1 PM. American Politics with John Wallace will feature yours truly this Friday. John's show has recently been picked up by Revolution Broadcasting which is an outgrowth of the Ron Paul movement.
In addition I thought it might be a good time to unveil another side project at Capital Outsider, we've established an account at Ustream.tv which allows us to broadcast from the couch, so to speak. So I'll be simulcasting the interview on Ustream. Just click on the icon below (or this link) on Friday and you can see if I got to cleaning up my home office.

Eric Sundwall interviews NY 20th Congressional district candidates John Wallace and Morris Guller.
We've had Morris Guller and John Wallace on the show and hope to see them together sometime in 2008. But it occurs to me that an invite to the other candidates would be appropriate. If declared candidates in New York's 20th Congressional district would like to appear on Capital Outsider, please let us know at: info (at) capitaloutsider.org. I'll even relent to letting Mounteer interview you, he'll give you a fair shake.
Happy New Year all.
Eric Sundwall
Mike Lynch and I made it to the 25th Anniversary of the Ludwig Von Mises Institute back in October. After some in studio taping, file shuffling and video editing, we have a final product. Please disregard the cryptic references to '8's' in our last segment, there's no conspiracy here . . .
Today I dropped off 4 episodes of Capital Outsider at Time Warner on High Bridge Rd in Schenectady. If there are no problems they will begin broadcasting the show on their public access channel in January. This will cover Albany, Troy, Rensselaer, Saratoga Springs and parts of Glens Falls. I believe the PA channel in all those areas is channel 18. When they tell me the exact day and time of broadcast, I'll pass that info on.
The 4 shows I dropped off were:
John Wallace with host Eric Sundwall
Robert Ward with host John Mounteer
Morris Guller with host Eric Sundwall
Jeff Gaul with host Bill McMillen

This is the official website and blog for 'Capital Outsider'. A small group from the Capital District Libertarian Party have committed to producing a show in the Capital Region dedicated to views and experiences not in the mainstream or 'outside' the regular channels. We hope to have guests from all walks of life and political beliefs who fit this bill.
We will post the most current versions of the show and develop the site as we go. Please let us know what you think via the comments section in any given post. I'm posting the graphic that I created and liked the best, we'll probably never use it, so I will now.
Sincerely,
Eric Sundwall
