Michael Vick - PETA

I read that Michael Vick tested positive for marijuana, and that this will probably result in him receiving a harsher prison sentence. Am I the only one who finds this ridiculous? The man was torturing dogs for the amusement of his friends and himself. Isn't that serious enough to stand on its own?dog4.jpg

I am not an animal rights activist. I'm not even a vegetarian, but I found this man's actions despicable. What do you think of having a PETA representative on the show? I've never given PETA any money, and I disagree with a lot of things they do, but I think it could make an interesting show where we try to differentiate animal rights and human rights, and draw the lines.

jeff,

Isn't the idea that once they have you, that you are no longer a citizen found guilty of a particular crime, but a ward of the state whose 'correction' is now part of the state.

I'll nix the pix if you like.
